Liquid Based Cytology Smears

RESULTS OF PAP SMEAR                          There are two possible results from a Pap smear: normal or abnormal. If your results are normal, you probably won’t need a Pap smear for another three years.                                                       Smear of Liquid Based Cytology If the test results are abnormal, this doesn’t mean you have cancer. It simply means that there are abnormal cells on your cervix, some of which could be precancerous. Depending on what the test results show, your doctor may recommend increasing the frequency of your Pap smears, or getting a closer look at your cervical tissue with a procedure called colposcopy. This exam uses light and magnification to see vaginal and cervical tissues more clearly. In some cases, your doctor may also take a sample of your cervical tissue in a biopsy. Pap tests are very accurate and regular Pap screenings reduce cervical cancer rates and mortality by 80 percent. Like a lot of medical testing, it’s not pleasa

EZIPREP Liquid Based Cytology

ABOUT EZIPREP  - The Most Economical Liquid Based Cytology in the world. EZIPREP Liquid based cytology provides an optimal combination of mono layer of cells and cellular slide adhesion and preservation of cytology cells. This will be helpful for more effective examination and diagnosis. Our patent pending mono layer formula was developed after years of research. EZIPREP is the only double smear liquid based cytology in the world. Its Double smear technology value adds the diagnostic accuracy twice as that of the single smear liquid based cytology products. Dual smear gives duplication of cells on the same slide. EZIPREP works on the basic principle of “Surface Adsorption by RCF”. EZIPREP is available for all type of fluids includes,  (a) Gynae Specimen  (b) Non Gynae Specimens & (c) FNAC

LIQUID BASED CYTOLOGY

Liquid Based Cytology (LBC) EZIPREP LBC is strongly advocated in the best interest of public health, by improving the quality of the samples and reducing the likelihood of the false negative cytology results. Thus liquid based cytology improve the early detection and treatment of cervical cancer. Liquid-based cytology  is a method of preparing samples for examination in cytopathology. The sample is collected, normally by a small brush, in the same way as for a conventional smear test, but rather than the smear being transferred directly to a microscope slide, the sample is deposited into a small bottle of preservative liquid. At the laboratory the liquid is treated to remove other elements such as mucus before a layer of cells is placed on a slide. The technique allows more accurate results. “ Pap Smear is sub optimal due to false positive and false negative results” “Liquid based cytology is More sensitive and specific compared with conventional pap smear ”
